Album Release & Fundraiser

We released our debut album Don't Be Sad on May 10, 2024, and played it two days later — on Mother's Day, May 12 — at Pop's Pub in Lethbridge, with our friends Waffelhouse.

The show was a fundraiser for the Centre for Suicide Prevention and the Canadian Mental Health Association, Alberta South (Lethbridge) Region. It raised $550 for the Centre for Suicide Prevention. Flower bouquets went to the first ten mothers through the door.

On Mother's Day, May 12, 2024, the band Little Super Dangerous with special guests Waffelhouse hosted an album release fundraiser in support of Centre for Suicide Prevention and the Canadian Mental Health Association, Alberta South (Lethbridge) Region.

Flower bouquets were given to the first 10 mothers who attended. This event raised $550 for Centre for Suicide Prevention!

Thanks to the members of Little Super Dangerous and Waffelhouse, as well as everyone who attended and donated. This event was held in loving memory of Kandra Clermont.

Motherless Day, May 10, 2025

The next year Jordan organized an evening at the BLOX Arts Centre in Calgary for anyone grieving a mother: grief crafts led by Kirsten White of the Lark and Raven Wellness Centre, an open mic for sharing memories, and sets from us and Caylie G & Madi. Twenty-five people came. CTV News Calgary covered it.

“I know how isolating it can feel even when you are going through it. We just wanted to create a space where people could come and feel grief.”

“It kind of feels like you take it out of yourself and put it in a container and it’s still there. I go back and I hear the lyrics and they’re still meaning new things to me as I change.”
